Capture the beauty and convenience of a marquee event whatever the season.

Do not associate marquee solely with summer months because winter and Christmas events are becoming increasingly more popular.  Marquees can be beautiful in all weathers with the aid of powerful heating systems which maintain a constant temperature throughout and the provision of board floor creating a solid surface which allows the flow of water underneath therefore protecting the marquee from water logging means events can be held successfully during the winters months or recent summers! Concealed toilets and walkway marquee can also be provided to ensure the whole event is under cover.

Last December a luxurious marquee was erected in the grounds of the landmark 500 year old public house; The Bluebell located on the stunning Tudor High Street, of Henley in Arden in the heart of affluent South Warwickshire. Where they hosted an extravagant ‘Dinner Jackets and Diamonds’ New Year’s Eve Ball.

The event required a 9m x 36m clearspan marquee, for the main area and 6m x 6m Chinese Hat marquee which was divided into entrance, cloakroom and storage area. This all fitted perfectly within the ground. The marquee was fully lined with ivory pleated linings and swag in the main dining area completed with 5’6’’ round tables and natural banqueting chairs, featuring candelabras as a centre piece for each table and a beechwood bar. On entrance to the main marquee featured the blackout area completed with black starlight roofs and lining, stage and black and white chess board dance floor.  The whole area was comfortably heated by four indirect oil fired heaters (EC40) which directed warm air into the marquee at an even flow.

Proprietor Leigh Taylor said: “The historic black and white building will provide a magical backdrop and the event will be the ultimate in indulgence and extravagance. It promises to be Warwickshire’s most prestigious event this year.” December 2008.

This coming winter looks to be another successful season with a number of events taking place especially in December including weddings, Christmas and New Years Eve parties. Showing that marquees are suitable throughout the year for all occasions.
