Fews Marquees kindly donated an elegant marquee to support a night in Hollywood theme for a charity ball organised by Chessgrove Park Day Nursery. At which £1000 was raised for Birmingham Children’s Hospital. The marquee was situated at our picturesque marquee venue site adjacent to the nursery.  The marquee consisted of a 15m x 24m clear span marquee completed with board floor, honey beige carpet and ivory pleated linings. The marquee was finished in true Hollywood fashion with a black and white chessboard dance floor, illuminated round bar and twinkling starlight roofs.  A 15m x 3m partitioned area was available for catering preparation and service; where by 130 guests seated at 5’6’’ round tables on natural banqueting chairs were served a champagne reception and meal.  An auction then followed before all the guests danced the night away.

Dear Friends, 

The staff at Chessgrove Park Day Nursery would like to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you, for the part you have played in supporting our first ever charity Ball in aid of ‘ Birmingham Children’s Hospital’. 

The evening was a huge success and the atmosphere just amazing. We had a fantastic opportunity to raise lots of money with the auction and raffle. We have managed to raise over £1000 for the charity, and this is still going up! 

We do hope to keep in touch with you, as the possibilities of holding this event annually are in the air. We do hope you to have benefited from this occasion and would very much appreciate any feed back you would have to enhance any further events we may embark upon. 

The marquee looked amazing, it really was an evening to remember thank you.
