St Mary Magdalene Church, Tanworth-in-Arden witnessed the marriage of John & Jenifer, followed a beautiful reception in a Fews Marquee in the grounds of Umberslade Hall.
The venue was styled by Big Day in a Box with stunning details supplied by the bride herself, a former interior designer and watercolour artist. Utilising sumptuous autumnal colours of gold, green, merlot and blackberry with accents of blush, pheasant feathers and stag antlers, guests were seated at long dinning tables under a canopy of ivory linings and festoon lighting.
Clear windows offered the perfect view to the outdoor terrace area, fashioned out of hay bails, old wooden barrels for cocktail tables, rustic milk churns filled with flowers & foliage and metres and metres of festoon lighting swaged between bamboo poles.
Guests danced the night away to the sound of Elvis under a magical clear roof structure with rustic Mr & Mrs letters, festoon lighting and elegant parquet dance floor; Stunning in the evening light.
Edison bulbs hung over the wooden bar with zinc top and backdrop of antique mirrors entwined with foliage.
“Thank you to Matt and the hard working team at Fews for providing us with the most beautiful marquee for our wedding day last September. …The moment I walked into the marquee for the first time with my husband is a moment I will never forget”.
