We were delighted to work in association with Stones Events to create this stunning venue for a New Year’s Eve wedding and New Year’s Day luncheon Party in elegant shades of grey and white.

The Fews Solution

Comprising a 15m x 20m Premium Structure reception area with curved roof in alternating clear and white flat roof linings, the focal point of the room was a breath taking floral island, set in the middle of a white dance floor on a back drop of silver grey carpet. The room was further flooded with light from floor length glass wall panels on all sides.

From the reception area, a beautiful walkway lead the guests through a series of curved draped panels, revealing behind them an elegant and sophisticated 10m x 25m dining area with bespoke grey pleated linings. Statement lighting completed the look with round dining tables decorated in grey and white linen, leather Louis chairs and candle and flower table centres.

Later the reception area was transformed into a chic club with dramatic lighting highlighting mirrored bars, grey and white leather chill out areas and an outside decking area with custom built glass handrail.

“Fews were great to work on this wedding with. The design of the marquee used the space within the client’s garden really well, and the plan was sympathetic to the needs of the wedding. For example, a clear roof was provided in order for guests to watch the fireworks at midnight, and Fews worked well with an external supplier to ensure that there was plenty of time to fit the bespoke lining. The client was so happy with the structure and the overall look which was created.

In terms of the catering logistics, they built a separate storage area for our dirty equipment and drinks storage, which was excellent seeing as the weather was so poorly and this couldn’t be kept outside. They also provided tracking so we were able to unload straight to the kitchen without driving over the client’s lawn; this made our lives much easier!
