A Semi-Permanent Structure was required to provide a fully functional temperature controlled gymnasium while building work was being carried out to existing facilities.
The structure would need to cope with the weight of training equipment and walls would need to provide insulation so that the team could continue to train all year round.
This long term hire solution was situated in the overflow car park of the Rugby Club.
A 20m x 35m Premium Structure with a curved ceiling, ABS walls and suspended cassette flooring provided a structure that was warm, functional and hard wearing. The flooring used provided a non-slip solution that was strong enough to withstand heavy weights being dropped.
The gym itself featured a weights area, a cardio zone, a matted area for stretching and floor based exercise and an abundance of floor space for training exercises. Weighted blocks were positioned on the outside of the walls to add extra stability to the structure.
To enable the team to train comfortably all year round, top class heating and cooling equipment was used to give control of the inside temperature regardless of the outside weather conditions.
