Cassie & JD

The prettiest of marquees

JD & Cassie’s proposal started on the famous pink bench at Royal Ascot.

Using this love story as her design inspiration for the wedding, Stylist Nina Temple-Cox from Big Day in a Box created a beautiful décor scheme in pretty shades of pale pink, grey and white with accents of lace, crystal and pearl.

Fews’ supplied a stunning marquee with white flat and pleated linings, a clear roof and hexagonal end to create a beautiful bar area, with open sides and views to a private lake. Even the guest toilets oozed style with an integrated system built into the marquee structure, complete with lady’s vanity area. 2 reveal curtains were installed to section off the distinct bar, dinning and dance floor areas: the latter being raised to reveal 6ft high illuminated letters on the stage, bespoke pink draping, white LED dance floor and crystal chandeliers filled with flower garlands. As the guests commented, it really was the prettiest of marquees.

“When I walked into the marquee it was more beautiful than I could ever have imagined. I don’t think I will ever be able to stop looking at the pictures of it!”
