Rustic but chic

Perfectly timed, the sun came out as family and friends arrived at St Mary Magdalene Church, Tanworth-in-Arden. Following a beautiful service, the reception was held in a Fews Marquee at Umberslade Farm.

The venue was styled down to the finest detail by Hatton & Harding. The theme was rustic but chic in a neutral palette, with spectacular Gypsophila wreaths, a vintage fire cart filled with white Hydrangeas and table decorations of sweet smelling white roses, succulents and herbs to add a beautiful aroma.

Outcome

The marquee itself was bright and airy, the clearspan sides allowed guests to enjoy the views of the farm and surrounding countryside. Guests were seated at long tables, which were decorated with centrepieces of moss and succulent roses in pretty wooden boxes.

Clearspan gable ends allowed as much natural light as possible into the marquee, enhancing the spacious, airy feel. Festoon lights were strung across the ivory silk linings and together with hundreds of candles and a fantastic backdrop of twinkling lights from the white dance floor, the marquee looked truly romantic.

“Fews Marquees did an amazing job of transforming the farm into a beautiful wedding venue…they helped turn what I thought was an unrealistic dream into reality and completely exceeded my expectations!” Emma & Oliver
