On an early summer evening, elegance met generosity in an Fews structure. Nestled in the gardens of Hagley Hall, the venue glowed with soft fairy lights, setting the perfect ambiance for a charity ball and auction unlike any other. Guests arrived in black tie and gowns, greeted by champagne, canapes and the music of guitar and tabla drums.
The marquee’s unique structure—bathed in natural light by day and candlelight by night—created an intimate yet grand atmosphere. Lush greenery and floral arrangements complemented the orangery’s charm, while curated décor added a refined touch.
Dinner was a gourmet three-course feast provided by Mahirs, followed by a speech from the charity’s founder, Rachel Ollerenshaw. As the evening progressed, the auction took centre stage, featuring exclusive experiences and luxury items. Competitive bidding filled the space with energy and excitement eventually raising over £32,000 for the cause.
The orangery marquee proved the perfect setting—where nature, elegance, and purpose aligned. This unforgettable event reminded all present that when organisation and charity meet, magic truly happens.
