RAAC Response for Hospitals and Public Buildings

RAAC Response for Hospitals and Public Buildings

Fews have already been part of the response to the unfolding RAAC crisis in schools, and other public buildings.  The demand for fast temporary and semi-permanent buildings in this situation is growing daily, and we have long experience in providing such solutions. We can offer fast installation of standard and bespoke, turnkey solutions.

Premium quality temporary medical centres

Temporary medical centres became necessary due to the Covid-19 emergency, space is at a premium to cope with numbers and maintain effective social distancing. PVC sided marquees and tents are an excellent solution when building in tight, awkward spaces is necessary. Hard-sided marquees can add valuable space for receptions, waiting and examination areas, as well as being easy to sanitise, especially when commercial grade vinyl flooring is used rather than carpet. It is possible to build our temporary medical centres on almost any surface including concrete, tarmac, gravel and grass using weights to ensure wind resistance and stability. We can provide a very fast installation service along with excellent long term hire rates.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability

We offer very energy efficient structures through optional insulated walls and roofs and ensuring minimum possible heat escape through effective sealing.

Fews has invested significantly in sustainable energy sources, equipment, processes and vehicles over a long period of time including deriving our heat and power from biomass and solar energy.  For more information on our sustainable journey please click here.

This approach extends to our structures which we maintain before and after use to increase product longevity, as well as offering energy efficient insulation and heating options.

Why Choose Fews for your temporary medical centre?

Fast Installation

Fews offer a very fast installation service where required. Our temporary buildings can be installed on hard standing concrete, tarmac, gravel or grass, and it is possible for them to be either  free-standing or connected to existing buildings.  The quality of our structures mean they can be in place for three months or even 20 years. We are able to build in very confined spaces if the choice of location is limited.

We allocate dedicated project managers to each enquiry, ensuring continuity in communication and information. They follow through from initial enquiry to final build, including being on-site to make sure that your requirements are delivered precisely and on time.
