We were asked by the Hay Festival of Literature and the Arts organisers to provide several marquees for their superb winter event at Hay on Wye. They needed high quality event structures for a queuing area and a retail area, plus entrance canopies and a café. The site was very uneven so we had to deliver structures that would be smart, warm and safe for the festival goers.
Our solution was to provide three Premium marquees on a 3 metre leg with levelled cassette flooring to 600mm from ground height. A 15m x 20m event structure was provided for a retail area with a 5m x 10m for the canopy and café, along with 20m x 25mstructure for a queuing area. The walls were hard panels throughout with black block-out keder-fed linings, and white flat keder-fed roof linings. The structures were each finished off with a single skin PVC roof.
